From modest beginnings in 2001 with a select few individuals, we have grown to accommodate thousands of people in need. From the shores of Long Island to the Catskills Region, Hamaspik HomeCare has garnered an impressive reputation as the homecare agency of choice. Licensed by the NYS Department of Health and accredited by the Joint Commission, Hamaspik HomeCare has become known for its legendary support and extraordinary caring. ”NYSHA, Inc.”, the New York State Hamaspik Association, is a statewide non-profit organization that represents a network of member agencies. From early intervention to senior care and everything in between, Hamaspik agencies provide a wide spectrum of essential health and human services to people in need. In the quarter century since its inception in Orange County, serving several individuals in an ICF (Intermediate Care Facility) residence, it has grown to accommodate twenty thousand people statewide. The Hamaspik name has become synonymous with quality in the health and human services industry, it has garnered an impressive reputation throughout the state and beyond.

The mission and philosophy of Hamaspik agencies is inspired from the Hebrew meaning of the word “Hamaspik”, which translates to "Provider." From day one, our members strive to provide health and human services in a community setting, treating all individuals and their loved ones with utmost respect and dignity, enabling them to make their own choices and enjoy the highest quality of life. All agencies joined under the Hamaspik umbrella, reflect one central ideal of helping people with compassionate and personalized care.
